ETH Zurich is one of the world’s leading universities specialising in science and technology. The deMello Group, in the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences, is a world leading center for the development of novel microfluidic technologies for use in the chemical and biological sciences.
This research project aims to develop a high-throughput and sensitive diagnostic tool based on imaging flow cytometry and deep learning. The successful candidate will lead the design, development and testing of this system, with a view to realizing a diagnostic device for clinical use. Research will involve interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers at ETH Zurich (Claassen and deMello groups) and the University Hospital in Zurich (Guenova group).
