Technical Instructor Part-145 in Zürich

The SWISS Technical Training is responsible for many different courses within SWISS Technics and organises up to 85 courses per month.

As Technical Instructor, you are the expert for conducting Part-145 classroom trainings as well as aircraft/simulator trainings or assessments on aircraft types within the scope of your SWISS company authorisation.

We are looking for a Technical Instructor, highly committed to his/her work, not making any compromises on safety or quality related issues.

Your duties

• Development, preparation and carrying out of work specific trainings (classroom and aircraft related) including respective paperwork
• Supervising and supporting of students’ training progress
• Co-ordination aircraft availabilities for trainings purposes
• Carrying out of examinations and assessments (SWISS EASA Part-145 Examiner/Assessor)
• Evaluating new training methods
• Practical demonstration of work and safe practices
• Keep your knowledge up to date
• Assist/Advise SWISS in training related matters

• Licensed Aircraft engineer with an active AML Part 66 B1 and/or B2 License and an authorization of SWISS aircraft types
• Part-147 practical trainer/assessor & instructor experience is an advantage
• EASA Part-66, 145, M, AMOS, Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS Trainings
• Willingness to work in shifts, if necessary
• Willingness to travel
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft aviation industry in a similar function are an advantage
• Diploma in professional training is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge in English (German is an advantage) combined with excellent communication skills
• Good team player
