Job Description We are looking for an intern to support the Global Digital Solutions Ophthalmology team at our headquarter in Basel, Switzerland. This global internship allows you to gain deep knowledge and understanding about the future of digital healthcare. We search for a candidate who has recently graduated with a Master degree or who is about to complete the graduation. Preferred employment duration is 12 months with the option to be extended. The candidate will be an important team member and part of a dynamic, passionate team with the purpose to improve the life of ophthalmology patients.
Responsibilities: • Implement digital solutions and digital marketing strategies within the Ophtha Franchise • Responsible for managing your own projects and support implementation in local markets • Support and co-create digital initiatives that increase reach to existing and new audiences, improve satisfaction with the quality of our support, and increase access to our information and services • Liaises with global and country departments to identify customer needs and translate these to digital opportunities • Fosters open communication and effective alignment between different external and internal stakeholders
Minimum requirementsWhat you’ll bring to the role • Master or Bachelor Degree in Digital Communications, (Digital) Marketing, Economics, Computer Sciences or Health Sciences (graduation not longer than 12 months ago) • Fluent English (written & spoken), additional language is a plus • Very good knowledge and high interest in innovation in the field of digital health • Experience working on commercial and/or non-commercial digital activities and digital marketing • Willingness and ability to work in a multicultural environment across various disciplines
