Job Description We are offering an internship at Novartis Pharma Services AG in Basel to perform core credit management tasks. In this position you will also provide different stakeholders with recommendations and information about risk level in order to enable well informed decisions about credit and risk management.
Major Accountabilities:
• Perform the credit & financial assessment for customers and properly document credit analysis • Make credit management decisions according to internal SOPs (release of orders for selected countries) • Lead various projects that have impact on internal control compliance, risk management or sales growth • Maintain and constantly update the Customer credit information and risk mitigation instruments and Country Credit Limits in SAP • Perform monthly reporting activities, including reporting to NPhS management • Monitor risk mitigation tools such as credit insurance, bank guarantees or letter of credits • Support the preparation of Credit Management NFCM related controls • Lead projects and execute according to timelines
Minimum requirements• Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance, preferably with focus on accounting (graduation no longer than 12 months ago) • Good business acumen and logical thinking • Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must, another language is an advantage • Team player • Good communication skills • Experience in use of MS Office • Previous work experience in finance / accounting will be useful
Duration: 12 months Preferred start date: August 2019
