Student Internship in Pharma Development Medical Affairs (as soon as possible, 12 Months) in Basel

Pharma Development Medical Affairs (PDMA) Medical Alliances Operation (MAO) Drug Supply and Compassionate Use (DS&CU) delivers tangible medical value by championing access to innovative drugs for patients via IMP management for clinical trials and Patient Access Programs. We drive cooperation on every level in our medical network by being excellent partners with Technical Development Clinical Supply, Clinical Operations functions, Functional Excellence, Medical Directors, the regions and Affiliates and various partners in PDMA. We take the Lead in the development of processes for Compassionate Use, Post-Trial Access and Drug Supply owning several Roche GCP (Good Clinical Practice) processes. We are managing the Drug Supply Budget on a PDMA portfolio Level and supporting the clinical operations function and Study Management Teams to enable an efficient, agile IMP supply provision.

Your main accountabilities:
  • Familiarization with Roche and working procedures within the department
  • Ensure timely updates of data in the Patient Access Integrated Registry & Supply (PAIRS) and clinical trial management system (CTMS)
  • Support update/creation of dashboards, metrics, minutes and training material
  • Support maintenance of shared drive (file renaming) and archiving processes
  • Support team members with other tasks within PDMA MAO DS&CU

What do you need in your toolbox?
  • You are an enrolled Bachelor or Master student in a University program with focus on Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of molecule development.
  • You have excellent planning and organization skills, are proactive and are able to think systemically by looking at problems and solutions from different perspectives.
  • You integrate well into a team with great social skills and have a high level of initiative and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) and web based online solutions.
  • Proficient in English
