Jobbeschreibung

The CEO-department “Business Development & Executive Office” (S/CO) is responsible for strategy and business development, organizational development, innovation and digitalization, KAIZEN and process improvement as well as for the Executive Office. As an integral part of the strategy process, business development is responsible for the development, steering and implementation of the SWISS strategy, based on substantial analytics in terms of internal and external factors, competition and economics. The resulting strategic options and recommendations lay the foundation for strategic decision-making of the Management Board.

Within the Position “Project & Portfolio Management”, you are responsible to further break down and implement the LH Group project management approach to SWISS. Doing so, you will be responsible for the introduction of a SWISS-wide strategic portfolio management, which enables effective steering of programs, projects and initiatives in order to operationalize the strategy. Furthermore, you shape the project management culture at SWISS to upgrade the overall performance and transparency of its project activities.

 

Your duties

  • Implement the LHG project- and portfolio management process at SWISS in accordance with the specific local requirements
  • Continuously improve the introduced process and tool landscape in collaboration with LHG members and the functional Process Owner
  • Introduce a strategic portfolio management at SWISS by establishing project portfolio performance dialogs across SWISS divisions
  • Steer the Innovation and Digitalization idea portfolio as part of the Project Portfolio pipeline
  • Create a local project management community in accordance with LHG offers and events to enable exchange and learning for project - and portfolio managers
  • Central point of information for all project related question in regards to tool, training, methodology and process
  • Ensure the compliant usage of the project management tool and process
  • Support strategic topics as PMO
  • Independent and self-responsible work on different strategic topics and projects

 

Your profile
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Business Administration, Economics and/or Strategic Management
  • Working knowledge in other airline business areas
  • Project Management know-how, especially with PMI® Standard is an advantage
  • Experience with Portfolio development and steering is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain a close network and exchange within the LHG
  • Goal and result oriented
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel know-how
  • Fluent in English and German, oral and written
