Application Operation Responsible (80-100%) (m/f/diverse) in Zürich

As a member of the team „IT Application Service Operation Management" you are responsible for securing a stable operation of our applications hosted at several providers in a complex airline environment. You track the availability, performance, capacity and interfaces according our SLAs (Service Level Agreement) and KPIs (Key Performance Index). You plan changes, releases, coordinate incidents and problems with 2nd and 3rd level providers. You work in projects to improve and replace existing applications.

Your Duties

• Secure operation and availability in a multiprovider setup
• Coordinate all operational tasks, changes and releases with providers and Software vendors
• Release Management
• Coordinate problems and outages with suppliers, providers and users
• Check and improve processes and information flows
• Work in IT projects
• Control, secure and manage SLAs and KPIs
• Responsible for operational costs and contracts

• Tertiary- or university degree in IT, Business Informatics or similar education
• ITIL V3 foundation
• Work experience in a similar function
• Airline experience is an advantage
• Know-how and experience in all basic infrastructure, current client/server technologies, databases (Oracle, MS SQL), Webservices, Windows Services etc.
• Good analytical skills
• Good communication skills, problem solver attitude
• Flexible, able to work independently and under pressure
• English and German oral and written
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle License models
