Jobbeschreibung

Commercials and Development (S/TC) is responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of aircraft components, interior, spare parts, tooling, and technical maintenance services. Besides the technical procurement activities, the supply chain and logistics are cornerstones of our duties to secure an optimized support of our technical operation.

Within the SWISS Technical Division, Continuing Airworthiness Engineering (S/TE) is responsible for monitoring and ensuring continuing airworthiness compliance of the SWISS and EDELWEISS aircraft fleets, support Line Maintenance in the daily aircraft maintenance operations and implement changes and improvement measures (modifications) on the fleet in close collaboration with aircraft manufacturers and equipment suppliers.

In the role as Assistant to the Heads of the S/TC and S/TE departments, the successful candidate will support the superiors and their respective teams in administration topics, communications, meeting and event planning and stay on top of the agendas. It is a challenging and exciting position that requires a well-organized working method and motivation.

 

Your Duties

  • Perform a wide variety of executive and administrative duties as required by the Head of Commercials & Development and the Head of Continuing Airworthiness Engineering
  • Support superiors in preparation of templates and presentations for management meetings and other internal and external meetings; participation, taking minutes, and preparing documentation of Management meetings
  • Point of contact for all administrative questions and needs of the department
  • Maintain appointment schedule and calendar of the Management team in order to ensure smooth office operations
  • Make duty travel arrangements for the Heads of the respective departments as well as business partners, in coordination with the responsible assistants
  • Organization of internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and events
  • Responsible for departments’ internal communication
  • Preparation / Distribution / Monitoring of department Key Performance Indicators in cooperation with the respective teams
  • Maintain vacation deputy schedule for department management
  • Project Participation
  • Facilitate the introduction of new staff incl. organizing documentation, trainings, workplace infrastructure, coordination with Human Resources
  • Correspondence with and support of Human Resources, Technical Quality & Safety Assurance Department, Maintenance Department, external business consultants
Your profile
  • Apprenticeship in business administration and/or experience as an administrative assistant
  • Excellent administration, organizational, and communication skills
  • A very good knowledge of MS office products is necessary
  • Airline industry experience
  • Good ability to prioritize, to work independently and as part of a team, reliable and motivated, good time management skills
  • Good knowledge of business management
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Flexibility and proactive attitude
  • Team- and process orientated thinking
  • Excellent command of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Discrete and loyal attitude
