Student Internship for Project Support in Change Management (as soon as possible, 12 Months) in Basel

Organization:
The Transformation Centre within Business Excellence (BEx) represents one of Pharma Research and Early Development Operations (pRED Operations) key delivery centres. It brings together the capabilities of Organizational Development, Change-, Communication and Programme/Project Management with the aim to facilitate effective and sustainable implementation of business transformations at all levels of the organization.

Position:
This internship position is open to candidates looking for an exciting opportunity to support the development of project frameworks and materials and assist in driving engaging employee communication and messaging of high visibility initiatives and programmes across the pRED organization.

Your tasks and responsibilities will depend on your degree of proactivity and independency:

  • Support preparation of change management interventions and activities (e.g. logistics and coordination of workshops, meetings, design sessions, trainings etc.) 

  • Drive and/or assist in planning, creating and executing targeted stakeholder engagement and change communication in projects.

  • Administer, maintain and further develop communication platforms, channels and tools

  • Assist in project and change management related data compilation (e.g. stakeholder analysis and tracking).

  • Assume responsibility for administrative project and internal team tasks

Who you are:
We are interested in an energetic student enrolled at an university of applied sciences or research university studying communications/journalism, business administration, social science, media or similar field of study. You have/are:

  •  initial experience in the field of Communication/Change and/or Project Management and bring a keen interest in organizational development.

  • great verbal and written communication skills. You should love to write and turn complex ideas into stories easily understood by a broad audience.

  •  independent, pro-active, critical and not afraid to work hard. 

  • have a good dose of organizational sensitivity, customer orientation and adequate English communication skills. 

Moreover you are/have:

  • good human relations skills and intercultural competence

  • excellent analytical and conceptual skills, as well as an independent way of working

  • comfortable in a fast moving environment and able to juggle several tasks at the same time

  • interest and the ability to learn about procedures and operations.

  • Good skills in MS Office, especially in PowerPoint

  • As a plus, good skills in Project Management
