Job Description For the new Cell and Gene Therapy Technical Development Unit, Technical Development NBEs, we are looking for a Post Doc to explore innovative strategies for the improvement of formulations and drug product processes for Cell Therapy based products.

Plan, perform and lead dedicated R&D work for:
• Development of formulation and cryopreservation process platform for cell therapy
• Definition of primary packaging in accordance with specific requirements of cell therapy products
• Determination of innovative drug product delivery systems suitable for Cell Therapy
- Write internal reports, lab documentation, protocols
- Contribute to new IP opportunities and/or scientific publications.
Project outcomes will support the implementation of new strategies to enable early development of special formulations for the cell and gene therapies biologics pipeline.
Minimum requirements PhD in Life Sciences (e.g. Biotechnology, Biology, Bioengineering or equivalent)
PhD with 0 - 2 years postgraduate experience
Relevant experience in pharmaceutical development of Cell and Gene Therapy products
Good understanding of primary/stem cell biology Experience in formulation development and analytical methods/characterization (e.g. cell count and viability, flow cytometry, bioactivity assays, rheologyHPLC, Spectrophotometry, particles characterization, calorimetry, etc.).
Good knowledge/prior experience with hydrogels would be an asset.
Excellent English skills, oral and written.
