Jobbeschreibung

The Troubleshooter – Avionics / IFE is part of the Technic Maintenance Control, which manages the technical condition of the Swiss and Edelweiss fleet. The Troubleshooter analyzes, evaluates and defines actions for technical irregularities on the Swiss and Edelweiss fleet. He supports the Line Maintenance, Flight Crews, Technical Engineering and Logistics with troubleshooting expertise and advises. He monitors aircraft systems and initiates and coordinates troubleshooting activities on the entire fleet.

 

Your duties

  • Ad-hoc and in-depth troubleshooting with a systematic approach
  • Technical assistance and troubleshooting support to flight crews and technical staff
  • Coordinates all received information regarding technical problems during daily operation
  • Monitors deferred defects and MEL workorders in order to discover negative trends
  • Create and solve troubleshooting events and follow up on repetitive cases
  • Monitors aircraft parameters through various software programs to initiate required troubleshooting actions as per EASA Part-M and -145
  • Provides field experience to technical engineering
  • Records and tracks new or complex technical irregularities for assessment and solutions
  • Continuously improves his knowledge on aircraft systems of the Swiss fleet
Your profile
  • EASA Part-66 B2 AML with at least two type ratings on either Airbus 320/330/340/220 or Boeing 777
  • Minimum 5 years holder of B2 Part 145 Certification Authorization on minimum two Swiss operated aircraft types
  • Profound knowledge of electronic systems, preferably entertainment systems, of advantage
  • Good knowledge of EASA and NAA regulations (Part-M, -145, -66)
  • Familiar with Maintenance Information Systems, preferably AMOS
  • Team player with active and clear communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Customer oriented, self-management and decision making skills
  • Willing to work shift
