Wyss Zurich is a joint research and development center of the ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, which was made possible by a generous donation from the Swiss entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. h.c. mult. Hansjörg Wyss. The mission of Wyss Zurich is to drive the clinical translation and technology transfer of outstanding scientific discoveries into new therapies for patients and breakthrough innovations in the emerging fields of Regenerative Medicine and Robotics, and to promote hybrid technologies in these fields. Wyss Zurich brings together some of the world's leading experts to form multidisciplinary teams, pooling their knowledge and expertise.

Our Wyss Zurich project Seervision is on a mission to create the world's first crew of intelligent cameraman robots.

Seervision is developing a complete technology stack that is able to automate tracking shots using any camera and any lens. This technology represents a revolutionary change in studio, sports and stage events production while delivering consistent high quality at significantly lower production costs.

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Order computer hardware from online-shops
• Manage inventory
• Assemble custom computer systems
• Configure BIOS and install Ubuntu
• Write automated testing scripts for testing the hardware

The workload entails a 10% to 20% employment with flexible working hours.

Our office is located in the Wyss Center at Weinbergstrasse 35, 8092 Zürich.

As requirements, you need to have the following atributes:

• Enrolled in Bachelor or Master program (ITET, MAVT, INF, or similar)
• Good knowledge in state-of-the-art computer hardware (Intel CPUs, Nvidia GPUs)
• Good manual skills for assembling computer hardware
• Good knowledge of either Python or C++ AND bash/shell scripting
• Detail-oriented and accurate work style
• Exceptional reliability
