Jobbeschreibung

As our future team member you are responsible for our global sales steering, including the development of the sales strategy, sales planning and sales reporting. The further development and monitoring of KPIs for the Lufthansa Group is also included in the task portfolio of the team that is also responsible for global sales steering - with a special focus on Swiss International Air Lines - to achieve the commercial targets and ensure the competitiveness of the Lufthansa Group in order to strengthen its market position.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to creation of global revenue budget for SWISS and Lufthansa Group, NDC CPN budget and Ancillary Revenue budget
  • Creation/operationalization of a global LHG target system
  • Responsibility for LX Revenue Forecasting process from sales side
  • Continuous monitoring, analysis and interpretation of global sales results and operationalization of the sales strategy as well as identification and communication of new and additional business opportunities
  • Steering of business intelligence units in various regions; this includes process optimization and development of new concepts with regard to revenue quality and -increase for Areas/Business Units
  • Definition/evaluation/prioritization of market and customer requirements for revenue management, distribution and sales reporting from a global sales perspective
  • Represent sales interests in different committees, including active participation in decision making process
  • Translate impulses from management into concrete sales measures
  • Definition/evaluation/prioritization of market and customer requirements for flight schedules/network planning and evaluation of existing/potential airline partnerships
  • Development of framework and instruments to optimise sales results of LHG Hub Airlines in order to achieve the revenue targets with efficient use of resources
  • Consolidation of requirements from the sales organization with regard to the further development and optimization of sales instruments including "Best Practice Exchange"
  • Contribute to the development of planning and forecasting models for short-term demand and earnings development, including an "early warning system"
Your profile
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics / Business Administration or similar field or comparable qualification / working experience
  • Experience in airline network planning, revenue management, finance/controlling, airline sales and distribution and/or strategy and business development of advantage
  • Ability to work independently with a high affinity for numbers, an eye for details and a high degree of responsibility, reliability and commitment
  • Knowledge of sales programs, sales channels, products, as well as sales-related processes of LHG Hub Airlines beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills, sound technical understanding of IT systems
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex topics
  • Strong social and communication skills
  • Assertiveness, good argumentation skills, problem-solving competence and conflict management skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, willingness to continuously optimize existing processes and design new ones
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to be innovative
