In the department “Aircraft and Engine Claim Management” potential warranty cases are evaluated on Aircraft, Components and Engines and related costs are claimed back according to contractual obligations of the respective partners. In this very interesting and challenging Job opportunity you are in constant contact with our Engineering, our focal points in Maintenance and our Key Account Managers and you are the interface between SWISS Technics and the contractual partners. If you have experience in Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance with further education or in Aircraft warranty handling, we would be happy to know you better.

 

Your duties

  • Investigate and establish warranty claims in accordance with the contractual obligations of our partners and suppliers
  • Monitoring of the AMOS system for potential warranty cases
  • Negotiate with contractual partners and suppliers to achieve the best result possible
  • Ensure that negotiated settlements of claims are balanced and in the accounting system
  • Close cooperation with the Engineering and SWISS Technics to detect possible warranty cases
  • Close cooperation with the Key Account Management and Strategic Procurement to escalate warranty claims
  • Close cooperation with the Operational Purchasing
  • Process contractual obligations in AMOS
  • Establish AMOS solutions and ideas to improve the system and its handling
  • Ensure supplier evaluation and supplier relationship management for defined suppliers
Your profile
  • Experience in Aircraft- and/or Engine Maintenance or Aircraft- and/or Engine Engineering
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications excel, word and powerpoint
  • Very good English language skills – written and spoken
  • Good German language skills
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Very good understanding of technical documentation such as AMM, EM, SRM, CMM
  • Very good understanding of maintenance programs, airworthiness directives and modification documentation
  • Good understanding of contractual and legal language
  • Good knowledge of warranty handling is an asset
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Teamplayer and willingness to share know-how
