Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for a proactive team player who wants to take direct control of our success by steering the cargo capacity on flights out of our hub. As the specialist for the mail and ecommerce products within the cargo contribution management department, you will be responsible to make best use of assigned capacity on flights, to follow up on agreed traffics and to monitor the performance with respect to show up and profitability. Furthermore, you will follow up deviations from agreed traffics and communicate with the worldwide sales organization about mail capacity and rates.

Your Duties

  • Evaluate Capacity & Pricing requests for the products mail & ecommerce
  • Steer mail traffics in order to optimize contribution and usage of assigned capacity on flights ex hub
  • Enable and guide sales organizations to successfully conclude tenders
  • Support sales organizations with negotiations for important customers
  • Follow up on agreed traffics and ensure a production according to plan
  • Prepare capacity steering inputs for biggest customers
  • Plan and support backlog handling in the hub - take corrective actions and communicate to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure available capacities are used according to plan by handling partner
  • Interface to handling partner for capacity related topics
  • Proactively communicate and support outside sales organization especially with regard to pricing and capacity
Your profile
  • Bachelor degree in Business administration, economics, aviation or similar, or 2nd level professional education with diploma (commercial degree like “KV” or equivalent) and at least 3 years of relevant work experience (Revenue Management or Controlling/Finance)
  • Knowledge of Contribution/Revenue Management philosophy and theory is an advantage
  • Experience in air cargo, passenger air transportation or logistics
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and Access or SQL
  • English and German: fluent in writing and speaking, other language is an advantage
  • Strong Analytical thinking and Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in multicultural environment
  • Ability to take decisions swiftly and independently
