Internship in Account Management Leisure (all genders) in Zürich

Our Leisure Sales team is responsible for managing, monitoring and further developing key B2B accounts in the Swiss tourism segment on behalf of SWISS, all the further airlines in the Lufthansa Group and our joint-venture partners. In your internship with us you’ll get to know the many and varied duties and processes of key account management. You’ll also have the opportunity to take on some associated activities yourself.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting our key account managers in their account management and development duties
• Responding to (or appropriately passing on) inquiries from commercial customers
• Reliably and independently handling ad-hoc assignments (such as preparing presentations and analyses for communication or decision-making purposes)
• Coordinating sales activities and events in collaboration with Sales Promotions and the Marketing team
• Representing SWISS and the Lufthansa Group at B2B and B2C events, at trade shows and on visits to customers
• Preparing and presenting market feedback (including action recommendations)
• Researching market trends and/or best practices and developing own summaries and conclusions
• Assuming project responsibility for specific topic areas

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in business administration or similar
• A structured working approach, conceptual skills and an analytical thinking capacity
• A flair for communication and confidence with customers
• Very good MS Office skills (especially in Excel and PowerPoint)
• A very good spoken and written command of German and English, with further languages an advantage
• A swift grasp of essentials, initiative and the ability to work in a team
• Industry knowledge would be a further advantage

CHF 2'500. - gross for Bachelor degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
