Swiss WorldCargo is the airfreight division of Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The unit Cargo Training & Continuous Improvement is responsible to define and manage the training philosophy within Swiss WorldCargo. We design and lead a wide range of business specific trainings for all functions within Swiss WorldCargo. Furthermore, our team initiates, coordinates and drives continuous improvement measures, i.e. KAIZEN and Station Health Checks.

Your Duties

  • Define, implement and manage business driven in-house education and learning material for Swiss WorldCargo.
  • Develop & produce detailed training syllabus, content and material appropriate for the targeted audience using the optimal method (classroom, web based training, tutorial, webinar).
  • Conduct trainings (scheduled and adhoc) and manage course administration.
  • Provide support and guidance to the outstations for all training related requests including LMS support.
  • Collect, describe, analyze and structure continuous improvement requests from the different Swiss WorldCargo departments.
  • Identify potential weaknesses and translate the findings into corrective action plans and continuous improvement measures.
  • Produce, maintain and manage Swiss WorldCargo’s continuous improvement rolling action plan.
  • Participate at Kaizen workshops and Station Health Checks
Your profile
  • Bachelor or Master degree or commercial education with several years of experience in the airline or transportation industry
  • Trainer education or work experience as trainer / instructor
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills and the ability to derive measures for improvement
  • Advanced computer knowledge (MS Office, Adobe suite, Articulate storyline)
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm
  • Outgoing, pleasant personality
  • Independent worker
  • At ease to act in an international and multicultural business environment
  • Ability to deal with conflicts and unforeseen situations
  • Fluent in English and German written and oral
