Jobbeschreibung

The Market & Account Steering department is responsible for steering all commercial KPIs of Lufthansa Group (LHG) Sales in Switzerland. This includes field sales steering, sales planning and business development for LHG and its joint venture (JV) partners and thus contributes significantly to the achievement of Sales Switzerland targets.

The Account Steering Expert proposes relevant sales activities and options for actions based on performance data analysis and evaluation of customer portfolios. She/he enables Account Management to develop the joint portfolio and optimizes sales activities and solutions. The Account Steering Expert works closely in a ‘Tandem’ with the Account Manager and acts as an initiator, challenger and enabler.

Your duties

  • Derive account management activities, based on regular analysis and evaluation of the assigned account management portfolio and the possible revenue potentials for LH Group and Joint Venture partners
  • Planning and optimization of customer visits / calls based on revenue performance and future trends identified in close cooperation with Account Management and Market Steering
  • Contribute to the creation of action plans triggered by Sales Steering function, feed relevant information to the forecasting process and initiate defined measures
  • Identification of sales based opportunities and threats by competition monitoring
  • Comprehensive preparation of contracts (including account development plan) and tactical incentive proposals in cooperation with Account Management
  • Regular analysis and evaluation of customer account performance as a basis for the annual contract planning and settlement
  • Market contracting responsibility for leisure agents
Your profile
  • Academic degree in economics, business administration or aviation related subject
  • Commercial or sales experience (1-3 years), preferably in the airline industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial, commercial and proactive mind-set
  • Ability to manage complexity and change
  • Structured, conceptual and result/solution oriented business acumen
  • Assertiveness
  • Team player with strong communication and social skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure, to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good command of English and German verbal and written
