The Procurement Services & Interior Department within SWISS Technics is responsible for the Strategic and Operational Procurement of Aircraft Interior, Inflight Entertainment (IFE), Avionics as well as the Claim Management within SWISS Technics.

In order to strengthen the Cabin Interior Procurement Team we are looking for a Procurement Manager. In this very interesting and challenging job opportunity, you will manage the procurement activities for the upcoming Cabin Refurbishment projects of the SWISS fleet. You will be in close contact with our Lufthansa Group counterparts, the Product department as well as Cabin Engineering.

Your duties

  • Lead / support strategic procurement projects across the commercial division
  • Management of all commercial and sourcing aspects of assigned cabin interior commodity incl. tendering and negotiations
  • Build up and secure a professional supplier relationship management
  • Responsible for purchase and timely delivery of cabin parts
  • Managing and monitoring of orders in AMOS
  • Manage supplier performance and lead supplier review meetings
  • Analysis of supplier market and evaluation of market opportunities or alternate sources
  • Ensure market know-how and knowledge about the supplier landscape
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with the requisitioner and all involved stakeholders
  • Verify the correctness of invoices in cooperation with Accounting
  • Implementation and operational hand-over of new contracts
  • Ensure following the SWISS corporate governance and a compliant approval flow within SWISS and LH Groups approval bodies
Your profile
  • University/FH degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 5 years working experience in Operational and / or Strategic Procurement, preferably in Aviation or a technical environment
  • Additional Procurement/Supply Chain/Project Management degree/diploma as an advantage
  • Proven negotiation skills and convincing personality
  • Experience in supplier performance management
  • Structured and analytical person with good conceptual skills
  • Commercial mindset with an achievement attitude and persistence
  • Highly self-motivated person
  • Established interpersonal skills and flexible team player
  • Very good MS office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
