The licensed Chief Station Engineer B1/B2 is leading the SWISS Expats and SWISS local Employees on our outstation
Moscow Domodedovo (DME) and performs maintenance on aircraft according to the privileges stated in his authorization and the limits given by EASA Part-66 and EASA Part-145.

He/she ensures with his/her team that all planned, scheduled and unscheduled work has been performed in accordance with approved data. High technical skills and a strong personality, together with a clear commitment and loyalty towards the company are expected. The Chief Station Engineer reports to the Head of Line Maintenance International.

Your Duties 

  • Leads our SWISS Expat and SWISS Local Employees on our Station Moscow DME
  • Acting as delegate of the Head of Line Maintenance International
  • Ensures that his/her direct subordinates work according to the processes
  • Guarantees that commercial pressure does not override the certification responsibilities of engineers and other staff when carrying out their assigned duties
  • Has analytical abilities and a result-driven approach to solve problems arising during daily business
  • Technical and administrative tasks
  • Pre- Flight-, Daily- and Weekly Checks and On-Call Maintenance on SWISS and customer aircrafts
  • Is responsible for on time Maintenance repairs as B1 licensed station engineer and release to service on
    SWISS and customer aircraft
  • Monitors third party assistants perform their duties in the most cost efficient manner and according to company rules and regulations
  • Conducts audits and implements any corrective action resulting from Quality Audit Reports
Your profile
  • Proven Leadership and Management experience within technical departments
  • Able to cope with pressure and to adapt to diverse situations
  • Motivated, flexible, co-operative and reliable
  • Target oriented, open to changes and initiative
  • Capable to work autonomous, take decisions and lead people
  • Communication skills within a multi-cultural team
  • Swiss citizenship is mandatory because of work permit reasons in Russia
  • Assignment requires a Russian work permit (residence visa for family members, if applicable)
  • (SWISS will support the employee in the whole work permit/ visa process)
  • At least 1 year employed by SWISS Technics in Switzerland
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part-145 and Part-66 regulations
  • EASA Part-66 B1 license, with type ratings on A220, A320, A330, A340 and B777
  • Either of the following type ratings would be of advantage: A350, A380
  • Run-up authorisation and good knowledge of AMOS modules would be an advantage
  • Willingness to work shift
  •  Work experience abroad of advantage
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in German and English
  • Good knowledge of IT tools like: MS Office
