Internship in Provider & Process Management Financial Accounting (all genders) in Zürich

Our Provider & Process Management Financial Accounting unit is responsible for defining, documenting, further developing and communicating SWISS’s financial accounting processes worldwide. The unit’s team manages and monitors our accounting centres in Krakow, Mexico, and Manila, and works closely with these to support our local finance offices in 27 countries.

In your internship with us you will gain insights into all the administrative and bookkeeping processes of our financial accounting, and will also help to shape and structure these. The main focuses of your internship will be on process, quality and risk management in the financial accounting field.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the Provider & Process Management Team to fullfull its daily task, especialy in the area of P2P and O2C
• Take over the responsibility for Master Data Management processes within SWISS Accounting
• Join the Lufthansa Group project team to build the group’s technical Master Data platform as SWISS representative
• Applying Kaizen methods to analyze and improve financial accounting processes
• Recording and illustrating processes
• Evaluating number flows using SAP and MS Office
• On completion of your internship, you will also have the option of writing a practice-oriented scientific paper (Master’s thesis) with us

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in business administration or similar
• Initial practical experience in the above areas
• An enjoyment of developing new structures
• A very good command of English and German, spoken and written
• A process-minded thinking approach
• A flair for IT (e.g. SAP, MS Office)
• An ability to work independently and a structured and analytical working approach
• A willingness to travel

Salary:
CHF 2,500.- gross per month with a Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
CHF 3,000.- gross per month with a Master’s Degree
