What does Master@IBM offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-3 year Master@IBM program, we offer valuable professional experience in the area of consulting (combined with an appropriate salary), which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the master study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and three years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your master's degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You will also write your master's thesis in collaboration with your department.

Who are we looking for?
For our in-job master's program, we are looking for highly-motivated students from economics, business or (IT) science-based degree courses. In addition to a good bachelor's degree, an independent approach to work is also important to us. Are you action-oriented, highly motivated and you have analytical skills? What can you expect from this position?
To extend our team in Switzerland we are looking for a Junior Data & Artificial Intelligence Specialist. In this role, you will be defining and implementing solutions in this area. Your tasks will be to plan and execute the implementation of such solutions. The challenge is to gather the customer requirements and translate that into a technical implementation to provide solutions delivering business value to our customers. Integration with other systems is a necessity during implementation and is of strategic importance.

These solutions may involve the following and other IBM products:

• IBM Watson Studio
• IBM Watson Machine Learning
• IBM Information Server

You will also support our sales organization with your technical expertise and experience.You will find a team with experienced experts and have access to a global network of best practices and information that you will need during your customer projects.Your work location will be Zurich or at the customer site. It is expected that you will be traveling occasionally.

Requirements:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Analytical skills and the ability to structure complex subjects and activities.
• You are keen to communicate and interact with many different stakeholders (e.g. customers business representatives, technical engineers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in at least 1 – 2 areas of expertise within the following domains: IT Architecture, System Administration, Software Development

  2. Tivoli Directory Service, other supported product

This job is only for candidates who will have finished their Bachelor studies by September 2020 (or earlier) and plan to start with a Master's Degree in autumn 2020 (Swiss university/university of applied sciences, study course of your choice).
