Vacancy: Senior Statutory & Consolidation Accountant - Investment (f/m/x) - We are looking for a Senior Statutory & Consolidation Accountant for our client, a multinational company specialized in investment based in Zug. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. Despite the Covid-19 situation, our customer is currently looking for motivated employees (f/m/x). Your Responsibilities as Senior Statutory & Consolidation Accountant - Investment (f/m/x)

  • Responsibility for the interface to financial accounting including creation of accounting documents, general ledger and sub-consolidation
  • Actively liaise with shareholders, auditor and regulators for the completion of statutory and regulatory filings;
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate full bookkeeping (G/L, A/P, A/R) of entities in the Group;
  • Responsible for proper maintenance and archiving of all accounting and accounting-related physical documentation;
  • Monthly closing, including, but not limited to, accrual accounting, reconciliation of ledgers, intercompany matching, preparation of supporting files;
  • Supporting the Accounting Manager with the annual and quarterly financial closing (Local GAAP and IFRS);
  • Responding to specific accounting queries and reconciliations for audit purposes;
  • General administration including, but not limited to, compliance and KYC;
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other members of the Finance team and other departments.

    • Your Qualification and Skills

  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance or Economics (Bachelor degree or relevant further education);
  • At least 5+ year's experience within an accounting, consolidation and reporting function;
  • Ability to account for G/L entries under IFRS and Local GAAP;
  • Experienced at preparing statutory financial statements and IFRS consolidation independently
  • Proficient with Ms. Office package knowledge is a must;
  • Business fluency in English and German.
