Are you interested in experiencing modern drug discovery in a state-of-the-art laboratory in the pharmaceutical research environment? To strengthen our current lead finding activities using encoded library technologies (ELT), we are looking for a curious and dedicated intern to join our team. Learn how to employ screening of DNA-encoded libraries (DEL) to identify low molecular weight (LMW) compounds and contribute to current projects in an innovative and inspiring research environment.
Timing: expected start date October 2021 Duration: 3-6 months
Your responsibilities:
• Execute processes linked to the screening of DNA-encoded libraries (DEL) • Support operations and ad-hoc requests for lead finding activities • Work with other team members in order to create, optimize and utilize innovative methods • Maintain documentation and share processes, technical knowledge and best practices openly
Minimum requirementsWhat you’ll bring to the role: • Currently enrolled in MSc studies or just finished university degree in Natural Science (biochemistry / molecular biology / biotechnology) • Hands-on laboratory work experience as well as in experimental planning, data evaluation, presentation and report writing • Proficient in English (written and spoken) • Teammate with good communication skills • Analytical mind in combination with a high degree of personal responsibility, conscientiousness and proactivity
