Job Description Our highly competitive Internship Program provides training opportunities for top-tier students to enhance their preparation for careers in Environmental Sustainability (ES). Interns will be working with the Environmental Sustainability team based in Basel and Prague where they will have the opportunity to contribute to our ES Global Strategy which covers carbon neutrality, circular economy, and water sustainability. The Environmental Sustainability team comprises a team of dedicated professionals with specialized knowledge who are responsible for determining the projects and initiatives required across the business that will help us to achieve our 2025 and 2030 Environmental Sustainability targets. Therefore, the intern will have the opportunity to connect and interact with relevant stakeholders across the organization. Your Key Responsibilities: You are responsible for, but not limited to: • Develop sustainability solutions focused on climate, water sustainability and/or circular economy • Support strategic Scope 3 projects • Perform environmental data analysis across our supplier base • Stakeholder engagement
Minimum requirementsWhat you’ll bring to the role: • A degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or similar. Fluent English (oral and written) • General experience in project management, previous environmental projects/experiences are strongly taken into consideration • Problem solving mindset • Strong data analysis skills • Innovative and creative approach to achieve Novartis global targets • Strong passion and commitment to environmental topics • Enthusiasm and positive teamwork attitude Desirable: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Yammer
