EMPA (European Master of Public Administration Consortium) is a network of European schools, that offer master programs in public administration.
Your tasks
The FutuRaM project will establish a methodology, reporting structure and guidance to improve the European raw materials knowledge base up to 2050, and facilitate the exploitation of secondary raw materials with a particular focus on critical raw materials.
FutuRaM will build on the outcomes of the Horizon 2020 project ProSUM, which developed the first EU-wide and open access Urban Mine Platform (www.urbanmineplatform.eu), and the activities of the Anthropogenic Resources Working Group of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), which in cooperation with the COST action MINEA developed the specifications for the application of the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) to anthropogenic resources.
The successful candidate will (i) coordinate the conceptual and methodological development within the FutuRaM project, (ii) contribute to the collection, updating, and consolidation of data required to assess the secondary raw materials potential and characterise stocks and flows of end-of-life vehicles, waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment, and (iii) support foresight on future secondary raw materials supply and demand.
Your profile
The position ideally is to be filled as of June 1, 2022, with an initial contract duration of 3 years and the option for an extension.
