Post-doctoral or PhD Researcher in Public Finance and Economic Forecasting in Zürich

 is part of the  (D-MTEC) at ETH Zurich. We are looking for a Post-doctoral or PhD Researcher in Public Finance and Economic Forecasting.  

The starting date is open and its duration will initially be for 18 months with the prospect of a further extension to up to in total six years. Gross salary will be in accordance with the . 

KOF's expertise lies in the empirical analysis of macroeconomic and policy-relevant topics for Switzerland. This position focuses on forecasting and analysing the public finance situation of Switzerland.

In this position, you will develop and apply empirical methods using macroeconomic data to answer policy-relevant research questions in the field of Swiss public finances. 

We are looking for an outstanding researcher with a PhD in Economics or interested in acquiring one. You should have a clear interest in the public finance situation of Switzerland and beyond. An excellent command of German or French is required; a good command of English and either German or French is recommended.
