Your tasks
- Measurements of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the atmosphere, using gas chromatography
- Introduction of continuous formaldehyde measurements at an urban site
- Method development for the analysis of VOCs and halogenated greenhouse gases
- Statistical analysis and visualization of the data
- Further development of software tools for the quality assurance of continuous VOCs measurements
- Support of measurements of halogenated greenhouse gases at Jungfraujoch with GCMS
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in chemistry, physics or environmental chemistry (University of Applied Sciences/University)
- Excellent technical skills and experience in gas chromatography for organic compounds
- Experience in programming for hardware control and data analysis
- Communicative persons that enjoys working in an international environment
- Very good oral and written skills in English and German
- Self-motivated and communicative teamplayer
