Student Internship in pRED Finance Basel (as soon as possible, 6 Months)

This internship is based in Basel, Switzerland, and offers you the unique opportunity to apply your Finance and Controlling knowledge in practice. During the internship within the pRED Basel controlling group you will help driving key processes in analyzing management information for decision-making in pRED (Pharma Research & Early Development):

• Work closely with functional and global controllers in the analysis of actual results and forecasts providing transparency and insights;
• Ensure proper governance and internal control in the area of responsibility and drive implementation of reporting changes;
• support Business Partners and the local pRED Finance Team with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure integrity of financial systems and master data, make the best use of tools and systems (SAP, BW, PlanET)
• Support local process improvement projects
• IMI Controlling (Innovative Medicine Initiative: joint undertaking between EU and the pharmaceutical industry association EFPIA)
• R&D Re-debiting Controlling
• Prepare HC & FTE reports

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent. You have strong communication and interpersonal/networking skills, as well as the energy and motivation to succeed in a dynamic and challenging environment.

• Experience with Business Warehouse reporting applications and SAP is preferred
