The candidate will perform his Master thesis in the Particle Engineering group. This group is part of Pharmaceutical development. The aim of his work will be to further understand the crystallization step of a drug substance through the use of modelling of physical phenomena. The candidate will first generate experimental data using different laboratory equipment and technics for crystallization and solid state characterization. Then this data will be used to build a model using gProms, an advanced software for process modelling. The candidate will regularly share his findings and present them to the team. A good understand of the physical phenomena involved in the crystallisation process would be a plus. - Perform experimental labwork using cutting edge technologies. - Interpret and challenge the experimental results. - Modelling of the crystallization process using latest sofwtare. - Communicate results
