Novartis is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate within TRD/BTD Advanced Process & Manufacturing technologies (APMT). The candidate will contribute driving freezing and thawing processes for large volume biological drug substance/product. Objectives are: Contribution to the development of process methodologies, qualification of scale-down models, understanding of quality impacts, and critical factors for large-volume biologics freeze-thaw processes. Critical process/system parameters must be identified, adapted to small-scale models and optimized. Also, responsible for the required protein analysis and particle characterization in the context of long-term storage stability.
PhD in a natural science (chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or equivalent) • Solid background/ knowledge in the physico-chemistry of proteins and their characterization • Conception, coordination and analysis of Experiments English, (German and French are also of advantage)
