Position description

Swiss would like to employ an intern to review the exact maintenance effort of our aircraft interior and the forecast of resulting maintenance cost. This comprises the direct cooperation with our line maintenance and subcontracted providers, in order to determine the process of effort assignment and tracking. The candidate will receive a detailed picture about our maintenance concept, the corresponding organization and requirements in the frame of airworthiness and safety.

Your Duties
  • As per example of our routine interior maintenance tasks A330/A340 quantify the effort based on the Maintenance Program
  • Quantify the effort for implemented, running campaigns and forecasted campaigns including rectification to scheduled wear and tear items
  • Review with Swiss business analyst this forecast against the identified effort out of the Maintenance Information System - AMOS
  • Give recommendations for effort assignment, tracking and forecasting
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Fluent German and English; written and spoken
  • Background of aviation, i.e. equivalent previous jobs or specific education
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office EDP applications
  • Teamplayer and willingness to share know-how
  • Communication and presentation skills to target audience
  • Cross-business thinking

CHF 2'000.- per month
