ETH Zurich is one of the world’s leading universities specialising in science and technology. The Biomedical Imaging group of the Institute for Biomedical Engineering at the University and ETH Zurich develops Magnetic Resonance technology and methods to assess the cardiovascular system in health and disease. As part of our efforts to quantify and predict metabolic alterations in-vivo we are seeking to fill following position
The research position concerns Magnetic Resonance (MR) pulse sequence design, image reconstruction and data analysis approaches for Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) based hyperpolarized imaging of cardiac perfusion and metabolism on experimental MR equipment. The work is part of a close collaboration with the at ETH Zurich to develop novel hyperpolarization technology and its in-vivo imaging application. To this end, theoretical, experimental and applied research is pursued.
