Student Support for the Finance and Supply Chain team at the Roche Diabetes Care (from February/March 2019, for 6-9 Months) in Basel

The below described role is part of the Finance and Supply Chain team at the Roche Diabetes Care Head Office in Basel. The organization is still very young. It had its go-live beginning 2015 and is focusing on the digital transformation of the Diabetes Care Business model. The team is working in a very dynamic, agile and challenging environment. This temporary job function supports the Controlling & Pricing Team and the Accounts payable team in specific tasks as outlined underneath in order to ensure a smooth controlling / credit management process and accounts payable process.

Your main accountabilities will be:
  • Support in Credit Management and Controlling of 3rd party business
  • Monitoring of credit limits
  • Monitoring incoming payments and management of dunning procedure
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Additional ad hoc activities
  • Support in the Accounting and Reporting team for invoice and T&E processing

What do you need in your toolbox?
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administrations or related degree area
  • Working experience in finance would be a plus
  • Basic knowledge of SAP (FI/CO module) and good command of MS Office software application
  • Strong orientation towards actions, solutions and results with a can do attitude
  • Well-structured and process-oriented thinking
  • Great teammate and ready to offer help to others in the team
  • Great communication skills in English, with German being a strong asset
