Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1 Line Maintenance

As an engineer of the line maintenance team, you will be responsible to perform maintenance on aircraft of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. (“SWISS”) and our customer airlines aircraft according to the privileges stated in your authorization and limits given by EASA 66 and EASA 145.

Your duties:

  • Line maintenance up to daily-check on B747-8, B777, A330 and A340-600, A350, A380, MD-11 aircrafts (minimum 4 type rating necessary).
  • Pre-flight / ETOPS / Daily and weekly checks as required.
  • Issue the “Certificate of Release to Service” (CRS).
  • Trouble shooting in accordance with licenses privileges.
  • AOG Support.
  • Administrative duties associated with the line maintenance office.
Your profile

Requirements:

  • EASA Part 66 B1 license or ICAO type II license (including type ratings trained by 147 organization) on B747-8, B777, A330 and A340-600, A350, A380, MD-11.
  • Work experience in line maintenance.
  • Willingness to work in shift pattern.
  • Willingness for short-term training assignments in Europe.
  • Decision making skills under time pressure.
  • Communication skills within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Solution and result oriented work method.
  • Good team player with sense of responsibility and social competence.
  • Valid driving license and passport.
  • Excellent knowledge in English a must, German would be an advantage.
  • Must be valid to work in the United States.
