Jobbeschreibung

As Manager Marketing Communication Campaigns, you are part of the Marketing Communication Campaigns team in the SWISS Global Marketing department. Your focus is the conceptual strategic planning, development, implementation and control of integrated marketing communication campaigns for the SWISS brand within our international markets and/or for defined communication topics supported by Advertising and Media agencies. Additionally, you are an active part of the digital transformation of the SWISS Marketing Department.

Your Duties

  • Responsible for the centrally developed and steered ATL campaigns in all strategic IC markets.
  • Definition of marketing communication targets, target groups, messages, timings and communication instruments under consideration of relevant market data (e.g. competition, economic situation, customers, SWISS situation in market etc.)
  • Development, execution and implementation of marketing communication campaigns and measures based on the existing global brand communication platform. Alignment of all available communication channels, messages and timings according to the strategy
  • Further development of innovative digital marketing approaches in close collaboration with the superior including digital topics such as programmatic media buying, pre- and retargeting, prospecting, ad ops systems (DMP, AdServer, DSP), attribution models, online KPIs, further development of the performance campaign set-up.
  • Represent SWISS in selected digital marketing projects within Lufthansa Group
  • Close collaboration with all internal units: Sales and Distribution, Brand Development, Social Media & Dialog Marketing, Sponsoring & Events, Marketing Analytics, Corporate Communication & PR, Revenue Management and Product Development
  • Agency management: Steering of advertising and media agencies (Online/Offline). Briefing of advertising and media agencies, development of media strategy and planning, provision of production plans, development and production of integrated campaigns and communication measures
  • Preparation of comprehensive campaign management summaries and post control of campaigns: Measurement of KPIs (sales, CPOs, awareness etc.) and respective conclusions for future campaigns
  • Media and communication reviews per market (e.g. development of competitor media volumes, SOV, creative campaigns etc.) and respective conclusions for future campaigns
  • Observation and analysis of market consumer behavior (travel and travel planning, media consumption etc.) to guarantee that a) respective communication instruments are used and b) adequate communication executions are developed
  • Lead 2-3 communication experts
  • Budget accountability and control
Your profile
  • College level or similar: Degree in Business/Economics, Marketing, Marketing Communication, Tourism Marketing or similar
  • Proficiency in English and German, written and spoken on business level
  • 3 to 6 years of proven work experience in Marketing
  • Proven leadership skills and team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of integrated, target group specific communication and earned media activities
  • Deep understanding of advertising, media and public relations business, work experience in advertising or media agency desired
  • Broad and deep digital marketing expertise with proven experience in digital media and programmatic advertising
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Airline industry knowledge is an advantage
  • Work experience abroad and intercultural comprehension an asset
  • Assertiveness, resilience, high degree of flexibility and good negotiation skills
  • Open spirit, at ease with an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Willingness to travel (intercontinental and EU)
