Internship Revenue Steering Europe (all genders) in Zürich

SWISS is hiring a new intern for the team Revenue Steering Europe – Revenue Management is what many consider “the heart” of an airline and an essential pillar of the success of SWISS. The objectives are to maximise revenues by managing the relationship between price, demand and capacity and to identify untapped revenue opportunities as well as anticipate trends.

Your duties:

• A challenging role within the Revenue Management department with a focus on the European network where you will develop comprehensive insights in standard methodologies of balancing demand, capacity and opportunity cost
• To actively collaborate in the tasks of monitoring bid prices and analysing performance by gathering relevant information from various databases/reports
• To assist in identifying revenue opportunities and take necessary actions to increase the performance for the assigned set of routes (e.g. adjustment of demand forecast)
• Prepare persuasive presentations to management, clear written and verbal communication

• University degree in economics, business administration or similar education
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Cube values and Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
• Experience in data manipulation and analysis (VBA and R knowledge is an asset)
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Team-player with strong communication and social skills
• Ability to break complex subjects down to their essential components
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills; must be competent at writing and illustrating analysis and presentations
• Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation, clearly articulating subject matters in a persuasive manner

CHF 2'500.- per month for Bachelor degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
CHF 3'000.- per month for Master degree
