Cost Controller Ground Operations Economics (50%) in Zürich

The Economics & Commercial Airport Infrastructure department of SWISS Ground Operations is responsible for one of the biggest and most complex budget positions and has the economic responsibility for all the operational services in our network in regards to Ground Handling, Airport and Air Traffic Control Infrastructure.

As a team member of the Cost Control team, you are responsible for the correctness of the incoming invoices related to Ground Handling and Airport Charges. You are in close contact with the respective cost block specialists, the accounting department, the local providers and authorities. In this position you report to the Manager ATC Economics & Team Lead Cost Control.

Your Duties

• Cost and invoice control of Ground Handling and Airport Charges
• Ensures correctness of invoices & costs and coordinates its timely payment
• Manages claims and credit notes for incorrect issued invoices
• Identifies and realizes cost savings and cost avoidance
• Executes cost analysis to support the Ground Operations cost control process
• Works closely together with the Accounting department in regards to booking related issues

• Commercial Apprenticeship, Matura or similar
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Knowledge in accounting, cost controlling and/or budgeting is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, with high attention to details
• Excellent German and English language skills; written and spoken
• High cost / benefit awareness
• Excellent advanced Windows Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel)
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
