Jobbeschreibung

The SWISS Engineering Department is responsible for administration and control of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM). Within this department, you give support to Operational Engineering, Flight Safety and Aircraft System Engineering with accurate flight data. Furthermore, the department is in charge of developing and monitoring the Aircraft Data Acquisition System (ADAS).

 

Your Duties 

  • Process of aircraft recorded data out of the SWISS used tool EMS (Event Measurement System) for visualization and analytical purposes
  • Visualize trend analysis and possible aircraft system malfunctions
  • Describe methods to detect trends of defined exceeding values for EMS/Tableau application to analyse systems which are defined by aircraft systems engineering
  • Translate the technical understanding of a system engineer to the developer's programming language for development of profiles for specific use cases in collaboration with development team
  • Collaborates with Aircraft Systems Engineers and Data Scientists to build a stable, operation ready applications, suitable for predictive maintenance
  • Coordination and execution, jointly with data owners, the needed processes and governance procedures to accurately define and ensure data flow
  • Act as main point of contact for SWISS and the development team for question and or request about predictive maintenance applications
  • Knowledge Management within the different departments at SWISS and the LH Group that is needed to understand and maintain data environment needed for predictive maintenance
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for new Use Cases (Predictor Plugins) in strong relationship with Aircraft Systems Engineering and Reliability department and define specifications (Requirement Engineering) for future Use Cases (Predictor Plugins)
Your profile
  • Finished Master degree in Engineering, Mathematics or IT
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and oral)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and programming
  • Tableau knowledge is an asset
  • Stress resistant, able to work under high pressure
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Distinctive consulting skills, flexibility and communication skills at all levels
  • Objective oriented person
