Swiss WorldCargo is the airfreight division of Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The unit Cargo Processes & Policies ensures the compliance and performance for all products and services offered by Swiss WorldCargo throughout all steps of the transport chain.

We are looking to strengthen our Processes & Policy Team with an Expert Cargo Processes & Policies to support our stations and internal stakeholders in many aspects of process and product compliance, as well as the performance and quality monitoring along the transportation chain. In this position, you will also closely cooperate with Swiss WorldCargo outstations, departments as well as handling agents.

 

Your Duties

  • Develop the guidelines, processes & policies framework for products & services of Swiss WorldCargo within the area of responsibility.
  • Define, set and control worldwide product, processes and handling quality standards
  • Define and secure the implementation of the processes and the KPIs/PIs for products and services
  • Support regulatory and industry audits
  • Ensure that all processes fit seamlessly in the supply chain of the Swiss WorldCargo customers
  • Support our internal quality system in processes and policies related matters
  • Monitor process and product performance deviations and initiate corrective measures
  • Initiate process and improvements in close coordination with other departments
  • Build up and maintain a good relationship with internal stakeholders and external providers
  • Take part in projects to enhance cargo processes and performance quality
  • Ensure a constant and appropriate information exchange with all colleagues and interfacing organisations such as other departments, stations in the network, handling agents, service providers
Your profile
  • Bachelor degree and / or 3-5 years of experience in an operational function within the Cargo Airline Industry, i.e. Cargo Airline or as Cargo Handling Agent in an operational duty or experienced in logistics
  • Customer and Quality oriented mind set – experienced in creating processes and quality monitoring
  • Good knowledge of cargo products and processes, the air cargo industry and its requirements
  • Fluent in German and Englisch; other additional language skills preferred
  • Solution and result orientated, problem solver in an efficient way
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • At ease working with different IT systems
  • Willingness to travel (10%)
