Jobbeschreibung

The Ground Operations Switzerland department assures the ground handling for SWISS, Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines at all stations in Switzerland. We coordinate, plan, design and ensure delivery & control of all airport related aircraft handling and customer processes, including lounges and airport sales activities. By running our SWISS own lounges in Zurich and Geneva, we ensure an outstanding experience of services which meet the high SWISS standards.

As a Maître de Lounge Geneva, you have the role of the host in our team and represent SWISS in front of our lounge guests and suppliers. You will be responsible for the entire operational functions of the SWISS First, Senator and Business lounges in Geneva. Activities such as representing SWISS towards our guests, customer care, coordinating the various suppliers, quality controls, reviewing service level agreements (SLA), maintenance, customer feedback management and survey activities will be part of your field of actions.

 

Your duties

  • Represent Swiss International Airlines and SWISS hospitality in the lounges, by taking on a host role to our premium guests, upholding the SWISS commitment to hospitality with its highest standards of product and service quality
  • Enhance customer proximity and constantly seek customer feedback and opportunities to understand our guest’s expectations better
  • Manage the relationship to our partners in the operations and contribute to maintain a close collaboration with them: Passenger Handling, Gastronomy, Cleaning, Maintenance, as well as all internal interfaces
  • Report guests feedback, operational issues, damages or any other input to the management
  • Act as a role model for all airport lounge staff
  • Provide guidance to contracted staff and their supervisor and support them in daily business, share the SWISS values with them
  • Ensure highest service levels throughout the lounge operation to offer best customer experience. Coordinate and ensure standards are consistently maintained by performing service level agreements checks, such as service level, food & beverage quality, quantity and aesthetics, cleaning, infrastructure
  • Organize and lead weekly operations meetings with our partners, share learnings from service recovery actions of the recent past and define measures with deadlines to be taken, keep records of them for information and action
  • Ensure implementation of new procedures, processes or product features and enhancements in the lounges
  • Evaluate the lounge product and services offering and service level agreement (SLA) with suppliers, by conducting quality audits and report findings
  • Initiate corrective action where required or identify new opportunities for enhancing customers lounge experience
Your profile
  • Education in hospitality management with 2 years of profound professional experience in the airline or hospitality industry (hotels or gastronomy), travel industry or event management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation, professionalism and reliability
  • Pragmatic and solution driven personality
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership personality and role model
  • Readiness and openness to work in shifts, flexible and willingness to travel
  • Perfect appearance, charisma and etiquette
  • Fluent in French and English, good knowledge of German are required
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Powerpoint/MS Outlook)
