Jobbeschreibung

The Revenue Steering & Pricing Analyst Edelweiss maximizes the passenger revenue by finding the optimal balance between price, demand and capacity.

He or she identifies untapped revenue potential in the respective markets and anticipates upcoming trends and developments in order to improve revenue results. The Revenue Steering & Pricing Analyst is also responsible to define the route strategy by taking into account the demand. He or she needs to ensure that all flights are planned and steered in order to achieve the optimum result.

A Revenue Steering & Pricing Analyst assumes route responsibility as well as market (O&D) responsibility and communicates with the markets and various internal interfaces. As a counterpart of the commercial department of Edelweiss Air it is his or her responsibility to coordinate all business relevant topics with them.

 

Your Duties

  • Maximize revenues for a given set of European and Intercontinental routes by balancing yields and loads on given capacity
  • Identify and assess external market conditions such as booking behavior, demand patterns and competitor pricing
  • Monitor and analyze performance by gathering relevant information required from various databases/reports
  • Compile and deliver appropriate reporting and analyses and derive relevant improvement measures
  • Identify revenue opportunities and take necessary actions to increase performance for the assigned set of routes
  • Set up price promotions as well as price revisions and safeguard corresponding distribution and fare filing activities
  • Analyze operational flight patterns and set/adjust flight optimization parameters (e.g. overbooking profile)
  • Ensure close collaboration and exchange with interfaces within Revenue Management, LHG and Edelweiss– especially Network Management, Marketing and Sales
  • Ensure a good communication and interaction with the Edelweiss counterparts to identify and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Assume market responsibility and build up constructive communication with the markets
  • Anticipate trends and developments in O&D booking behavior and ensure reflection in forecast by constantly monitoring the demand
  • Prepare persuasive presentations to upper management
Your profile
  • University degree in economics, business administration or similar education
  • Fluent in English and German (other languages are an asset)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills; must be competent at writing and illustrating analyses and presentations
  • Ability to break complex subjects down to their essential components
  • Team-player with strong communication and social skills
  • Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation, clearly articulating subject matters in apersuasive manner
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
