Jobbeschreibung

The Marketing Communication Campaigns unit is responsible for the conceptual strategic planning of communication campaigns and the development, implementation and control of integrated campaigns for the SWISS brand. The campaigns aim to strengthen brand awareness within clearly defined target groups and to achieve SWISS's sales targets. In addition to Switzerland, the team also plans and implements campaigns in various other SWISS foreign markets.

The unit comprises three teams of 2-5 people each, one of whom serves the domestic markets of SWISS International Airlines, Deutsche Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines, while the other two serve the international markets in Europe and intercontinental. Each of the teams is also responsible for special cross-divisional issues.

Your duties

You are part of the European team and responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and reporting of integrated communication campaigns for SWISS based on the existing and globally valid brand and campaign platform.

As project manager of the Marketing Communication Campaigns unit, you will work closely with the advertising and media agencies as well as the local marketing managers in the strategic and focus markets in Europe. You will also be the contact person for foreign organisations that are not part of the strategic, focus markets and will coordinate a wide range of enquiries on communication and campaign issues.

Their main tasks are:

  • Co-development of the marketing communication strategy for the assigned European markets
  • Definition of campaign goals, target groups, messages, timings, communication instruments and KPIs taking    into account the relevant market and customer data
  • Development, implementation, optimization and reporting of integrated communication campaigns based on the implemented communication platform
  • Independent management of creative and media agencies
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing / Communication
  • 2-3 years relevant professional experience in the fields of media strategy and planning as well as marketing communication, advantageous in a media agency or on the client side
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Very good knowledge of English and German, oral and written, approx. level C1
  • Independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working
  • Willingness to assume responsibility
  • Team player with good communication and presentation skills
  • Quick comprehension and high willingness to learn
  • Flexibility and resilience
  • Experienced handling of MS Office applications
