Jobbeschreibung

The position Direct Distribution Solutions & Standards is based in Zurich and reports to the Lufthansa Group (LHG) Head of Direct Distribution Solutions & Standards. Alternative Direct Distribution Solutions based on IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC) Standards, play a vital role for LHG’s future distribution capabilities, making sure LHG’s products are properly placed and easily accessible on different channels. The position is responsible for the preparation and performance of business process analysis and implements new distribution solutions. Further, he or she contributes to the functional enhancements of existing solutions and assures a high standard of business process quality of new and existing solutions.

 

Your Challenge

  • Implementation of LHG direct distribution solutions by travel technology providers or own solutions steering of projects
  • Revise the day-to-day progress of the projects and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality, providing all time high quality integration support
  • Identification and implementation of innovative solutions in collaboration with distribution functions, performance trend scouting
  • Specification of business requirements for distribution solutions (new and existing)
  • Performance of gap analysis and specification of business requirements incl. end-to-end requirements analysis
  • Integration of distribution partners/ travel technology providers by identifying potential partners in collaboration with other Distribution Teams
  • Financial evaluation of direct solution projects and business requirements
  • Preparation of decision papers for board meetings

 

Your profile
  • Bachelor or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Information Technology or IT advanced project management skills (>3 years)
  • Strong conceptual capabilities solution oriented approach experience in business / IT alignment
  • High degree of assertiveness, especially in dealing with providers knowledge and experience with travel distribution ecosystem strong problem solving capabilities
  • Strongly developed sense of responsibility, high level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in English (German would be an advantage)
  • Functional management of existing solutions (e.g. Farelogix) incl. development plan
  • Functional interface and project contribution to special projects
  • Representation and communication of distribution solution and its implication across departments to internal partners
