Jobbeschreibung

The Ground Operations Switzerland department assures the ground handling for SWISS, Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines at all stations in Switzerland. We coordinate, plan, design and ensure delivery & control of all airport related aircraft handling and customer processes, including lounges and airport sales activities. By running our SWISS own lounges in Zurich and Geneva, we ensure an outstanding experience of services which meet the high SWISS standards.

As an intern Maître de Lounge, you have the role of the host in our team and represent SWISS in front of our lounge guests and suppliers. You will help your team in the entire operational functions of the SWISS First, Senator & Business lounges in Zurich. Activities such as representing SWISS towards our guests, customer care, coordinating the various partners, quality audits and customer feedback management will be part of your field of actions.

 Your responsibilities

  • Represents Swiss International Airlines and SWISS hospitality in the lounges. Mainly takes on a host role to our premium guests, upholding the SWISS commitment to hospitality with its highest standards of product and service quality.
  • Enhances customer proximity and constantly seeks customer feedback and opportunities to understand our guest’s expectations better.
  • Supports the Maître de Lounge team and the lounge partners in their daily business (passenger handling, gastro, cleaning, maintenance, as well as all internal interfaces).
  • Ensures the highest service levels of our various lounge products and services, by conducting quality audits and passenger surveys.
  • Performs administrative duties such as reporting guests feedback and operational issues to the management, answering emails and compiling statistics.
  • Supports events in the lounges, leads lounge tours and helps in the implementation of new procedures.
Your profile
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education specializing in hotel, hospitality or tourism management
  • A very good spoken and written command of German and English
  • Practical experience in customer service (hotels or restaurants) and in quality management
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • A customer- and service-minded working approach
  • A well-groomed appearance and very good manners
  • Very good MS Office skills

Salary:
CHF 2'500.- gross for Bachelor degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
CHF 3'000.- per month for Master degree
