Jobbeschreibung

The Online Sales & Marketing GVA is responsible for generating demand from consumers and maximizing return on investment of online activities in Western Switzerland.

He/she coordinates the placement of SWISS destinations, products and services into the different channels at his/her disposal: swiss.com, social media, newsletters, campaigns, partners, etc.

He/she initiates all placement activities with the revenue management unit and the respective product owners, to ensure an efficient and coherent promotional calendar and the commercial success of SWISS online activities in Western Switzerland.

The Online Sales & Marketing GVA is responsible for the implementation of activities on own marketing tools and coordinates with respective departments the implementation on paid and earned media.

Furthermore, he seeks opportunities to increase SWISS online sales performance by placing offers on external platforms through partnerships.

Your duties

  • Monitor online sales performance of destinations and product portfolios
  • Initiate and shape placement of offers with Revenue Management
  • Coordinate placement of products and services with respective Product Owner
  • Manage online sales activities on own marketing tools (swiss.com, social media, newsletters, campaigns, partners)
  • Coordinate and provide support to respective departments for placement on paid and earned media
  • Negotiate online offer placement with potential external partners
  • Manage and update the promotional calendar
  • Produce sales content
  • Ensure correctness of information and functionality
  • Maintain market intelligence, provide benchmark information
  • Manage online analytics
  • Support projects within the organization
Your profile
  • University degree in marketing, management, communication or similar
  • Degree/additional training in digital marketing a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in e-commerce
  • French (mother tongue), English (oral & written), German an advantage
  • Experience in using content management systems, social media advertising platforms, newsletter management systems
  • E-commerce understanding and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Business acumen and result driven
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Airline pricing and distribution knowledge a plus
  • Stress resistant, able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and willing to take responsibility
  • Good team-player with strong social and communication skill
  • Ability to adapt to fast changing environments
