SWISS is offering a Payment IT Project Manager position starting as soon as possible.

Payment processes at the touch points along the customer journey are essential when it comes to improving customer services. Opening up new sources of revenue and offering the right methods of payment in different markets are crucial to a seamless sales process.

In order to do so effectively, the Payment IT team is part of the virtual Payment Excellence Group, which offers an end-to-end approach to all payment relevant projects within the Lufthansa Group. Within interdisciplinary teams, we work together to offer reliable, flexible and state-of-the-art payment methods for the airline’s touchpoint.

Your duties

  • Continuous improvement and harmonization of the payment IT systems of Lufthansa Group hub airlines including the interfaces to the booking, retail and accounting systems
  • Develop and implement the future IT architecture for payment systems, new methods of payment and fraud management systems
  • Project IT lead for strategic and operational projects
  • Create solution sketches under consideration of framework conditions (IT operation, commercial framework conditions, technical requirements, interfaces, strategic framework conditions)
  • Coordinate and optimize your tasks with specialist departments and IT architects of the Lufthansa Group and our service providers
  • Control stakeholder requirements and dependencies with different projects
  • Steering of external suppliers, define work orders and control acceptance of developed solutions
  • Initiate and attend RFP processes
Your profile
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
  • You have experience in fields as payment, eCommerce, airline industry, project management, IT architecture and provider steering
  • You bring excellent communication skills, are a negotiation talent and you know how to convince people of your ideas
  • You love cooperation and collaboration very much; you are motivated and like to drive change
  • Fluent in English and German mandatory
  • Willingness to travel (20-40%)
