The business unit “Content Development & Market Steering” is responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of new marketing content as well as for the global market planning and steering. It develops and executes an integrated communication approach for SWISS and ensures state-of-the art communication. It fosters an optimal positioning of the SWISS brand for all target groups of the B2C segment. Furthermore, it is responsible for the content distribution worldwide.

Content Development creates awareness and drives revenue-generating activities. The Content Development team serves as a competence centre for all SWISS communication units, and thus leads, consults and challenges market communication activities globally.

Role Overview: Content Development

The role Content Development within Marketing strategically and operatively sets the framework for all corporate moving image productions as well as other content projects and productions on- and offline.

  • Lead all kinds of film projects before, during and after production, e.g. 360°-, corporate-, promotion-, explanation- and event-films
  • Act as single point of contact at SWISS for moving image
  • Assume editorial responsibility for the content of the interactive experience platform World of SWISS and drive its development (design, content, CMS and tracking)
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, i.e. film, brand and communication agencies, as well as producers
  • Continually overseeing and enhancing the design, motion and sound guidelines of SWISS
  • Ensuring that the company presence complies with its brand standards
  • Develop and manage the quality and consistency of content distributed across marketing communication touch points including paid, owned and earned media channels
  • Continuous monitoring of performance of communication measures and transfer learning into future concepts
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communication or similar
  • A minimum of five years’ work experience in the area of communication and brand management in an international environment, prior work experience in the airline industry is an advantage
  • Proven track record in the area of film and/or photography
  • Proven track record in the area of design and branding
  • Excellent German (mother tongue) and English (fluent) language skills, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Ability to make decisions independently and shoulder responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Creative thinker and fast learner, ability to communicate ideas effectively
  • Hands-on team player who is comfortable with working independently in a challenging and exciting environment
  • Stays calm and in control under pressure
