Software Development Internship in young innovative Company in Zürich
RethinkResource is a Zurich-based Cleantech startup with the mission to keep valuable materials in the economic cycle. We develop Circado, an intelligent online trading platform for industrial waste- and side-stream materials. We are looking for a software development intern helping to build our trading platform Circado, where producing industries can exchange their by-products. You will also be involved in a project with >10 large industrial players in Europe.
Was du machen wirst:
# The Job:
Develop and build the backend of our trading platform (Circado) on our functional stack
Be involved in a project with >10 large industrial players in Europe
Architect our side-steam & material database(s) and the intelligent search layer on top of it
Development of that database(s) and integration into the Circado backend / web-API
# Our Stack: (don't worry if you are not yet acquainted with some of the languages)
Elm and JavaScript front-end
Elixir and Phoenix back-end exposing a GraphQl API
PostgreSQL database
GitHub, CircleCi and Heroku as our DevOps tools

Was wir erwarten:
- Mindestbildungsabschluss Bachelor You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- * You feel comfortable discussing complex technical topics in English, speaking German is a plus
- * You are self-motivated and willing to learn the skills needed to solve the problems you will face
- * You have a Swiss or EU passport (or another permit that allows you to work in Switzerland)
- * Nice to have, but not a must: Experience with functional programming or front-end development
