We are looking for an energetic, responsible person with a passion for working with children to deliver science themed parties and lead Science and Sport holiday camps in Zurich. The ideal candidate would be capable of engaging and safely managing groups of children. Parties take place at customer homes and so it is essential that you can drive to take the equipment and are fluent in German (preferably Swiss German). The camp leaders will help deliver camps during holidays, leading science and sport workshops for children throughout the day.
After initial training and our thorough onboarding process the appropriate candidate will deliver fun and educational science parties, camps & workshops for children aged 5-12 years old.
You must be available to work at the weekend and you must be able to drive because parties are at the home of the customer and you must carry all equipment with you. Equipment cannot be trasnported on public transport. The closer you live to Zurich, 8038 the easierit would be. You need to enjoy working with children and be able to manage and engage groups of children safely. As a science birthday party entertainer you would perform a scripted and pre-planned interactive science show with science experiments to entertain, educate and excite children about science!
We have 4 to 6 camps every year in the school holiday season, the camps run for 5 consecutive days and have a science and sport program. As a camp leader you would lead science workshops, sports and supervise the children during activities and lunch. It would be very beneficial if you have prior experience in coaching particular sports. We are looking for fun skill drills in sports like football, hockey, tennis, golf, dance, yoga or anything our presenters can bring to the job.
